With the correct care, your beautiful veil can last for many years. Take the steps below to keep your veil in perfect condition for your wedding day and beyond!
Storage
To avoid creases, please hang your veil. If you cannot hang it, lightly fold it to avoid deep creases. Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. After your big day, lightly fold your veil and wrap it in acid free tissue paper.
Cleaning
Hand wash or select a delicate cycle on your washing machine. If there are any stains or marks on your veil, do not wash it in the washing machine or soak it in water. Simply spot treat the affected area with a damp cloth and gently dab out any marks. Once you have removed the marks, you can wash the entire veil.
Removing Creases
Steaming your veil is the safest way to get rid of creases. We recommend using a garment steamer. If you do not have a steamer to hand, you can hang your veil in a steamy bathroom; the steam from the shower will help to remove the creases. We strongly advise against ironing your veil, the material is very delicate and can easily burn.
